The Life Time Turkey Day 5K in Boise has been a healthy way to start Thanksgiving Day. Participants can run, jog or walk the 3.1 miles with friends and family. Athletes are encouraged to dress the part and the best costume wins a prize. Online registration is now open and will remain open until November 20. The cost to register is $25 for adults $15 for youth ages 17 and younger. The price to register on race day is increases by $35 for adults and $20 for youth. If participants register online, early materials pick-up is available on November 21 from 3-6 p.m. at Thomas Hammer Coffee. The 5K race starts on Main Street at Capital Boulevard and follows flat course around downtown. Participants will finish at 8th Street between Bannock and Idaho.
