During the holiday months, it's easy to find excuses to not exercise, unless you LOVE your exercise! Danse Orientale, a.k.a. "Belly Dance," is a total body workout by itself, no jumping jacks, stomach crunches or lunges required. It is an excellent core (abs and back) workout, and strengthens and tones the whole body, burning at least 300 calories an hour. Unlike current popular dance and dance fitness styles, the non-impact and low-impact moves do not harm joints.
