Bus Stop - Four Rivers Community Theater
Bus Stop by William Inge will be presented by the Four Rivers Cultural Center’s Community Theater on Friday and Saturday, November 16th and 17th at 7:30. Refreshments and pre play entertainment will begin at 6:45. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for 12 and under.
Director Maggie Wood has announced the cast of this comedy. Caldwell native Tyler Whitt will play the male lead of Bo. Onion Skins regular Pam Sheffield will play Cherie. Local regulars Neal Haney is Virgil and Ron Turner plays Will, the sheriff. Maureen Ireland plays the restaurant owner and her real life daughter Whitney Oliva is the waitress. Paul Donovan, another local actor, will play Dr. Lyman. Randall Kirby rounds out the cast as Neal, the bus driver. Bus Stop by William Inge is a comedy about snowbound travelers who are stranded in a small roadside cafe. It’s a mixture of comedy and romance. Inge beautifully explores his well crafted characters pointing out their foibles, successes and their relationships with each other. Bus Stop has been called Inge’s best play.
