Benefit concert for "Lula" Coe
Michaella "Lula" Coe is in the fight of her life. She is a beautiful, spunky, 9-year-old Boise girl who is fighting Stage IV Wilms Tumors in her lungs. She's had a wild ride -- a full year of chemo, two months of radiation, one kidney removed and part of her liver taken out, too. Now she's looking at the possibility of a bone marrow transplant, which means at least two months in Salt Lake City away from her family in Boise. We're collecting donations for a benefit concert and silent auction at 1 p.m. Dec. 15 at The Venue, 521 W. Broad St., Boise, to help support Lula and her family. The benefit concert is presented by Street Connections LLC., Angel C. Hernandez, president. An account to receive cash donations to help Lula and her family has been opened at Idadiv Credit Union, P. O. Box 500, Nampa, Idaho 83653. Please send checks payable to: Idadiv Credit Union, for deposit to account # 00004464. For more information, contact Monique Wilson Zehner at (208) 440-4489.
