What Can You Do With A Gourd!
The Idaho Gourd Society (IGS) is presenting two educational evenings on gourds at the Caldwell Library on March 4th and 25th from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. March 4th is an introduction to gourds with information on the IGS, patch groups, classes and festivals, as well as, the many uses of gourds in history and in cultures around the world and the growing of gourds: varieties, growing conditions and curing. On the 25th, there will be demonstrations of gourd art, including techniques, tools, materials and resources by members of the IGS. You will have a chance to ask them questions.
